Hi, nice to meet you!

Hi, nice to meet you!

I am Anurag, a Product Designer + Developer from New York.

Current clients: UX and Marketing Technology Consultant at Museum of Contemporary Art, Westport, UX Consultant at The Steven Spectrum Career Project.

I am currently taking on roles in Product design (web apps, mobile apps), UX design, and Marketing Technology.

Contact Me.

Building off nearly five years of experience in the technology industry, I bring a systems-driven, user-centric approach to my design work. Most recently as a Sr. Systems Engineer at Thrivent Financial, Software Engineer II at Blueshift (San Francisco, California), and Integrations Software Engineer at Lytics (Portland, Oregon), I have a strong understanding of technology products, as well as the importance of scalability, reusability, and extensibility. While a student, I completed engineering internships at Blockchain.com (New York) and CloudOps (Montréal, Canada). Early in my career, I worked in financial services. I spent a summer as an analyst at boutique investment Bank, TAG Energy Partners (New York), and private investment firm, Goodnow Investment Group (Darien, Connecticut).

While at Lytics, I supported clients like Procter & Gamble, Universal Music Group, and Nestlé. At Blueshift, I worked extensively with clients including Discovery+ Streaming, Udacity, and Zumper.

Interested in the place where digital product design meets software, and how we can take a systems-driven, user-centric approach to designing the best apps.

Experience in consumer apps, enterprise SaaS, and financial services. Programming professionally since 2016 with a focus on backend engineering using AWS, Go, JavaScript, Python, Ruby on Rails, Java.

I completed a UX/UI Design Certificate at Pratt Institue in May 2024.

I graduated from McGill University with a B.S. in Computer Science, where I completed graduate coursework in machine learning, software design, and computer graphics/rendering technologies.

In my spare time, you might find me playing my piano, taking photos with my Fuji XT-3, or trying my hand at acrylic painting!

Awards + Accolades

Blueshift: #1 Hackathon Project Award - Productivity Category (Chrome Extension Team project)
